William F. Cesare, Ph.D Principle, Senior Advisor
With over 25 years experience, Bill is a serial entrepreneur and early-stage private angel investor. As the lead investor in DiJiPOP, Bill serves as Senior Business Advisor and supports the Company regarding strategic business development. Bill has been a principle in multiple start-up companies ranging from medical devices, to retail operations. He was the founder of PreventionWorks, a national corporate health and wellness organization which was acquired in 1997, and founder of ACES Technologies, a pioneering ASP internet services firm which was acquired in 2001.
As an early stage investor, Bill currently has interest in over a dozen start-up companies and sits on the Board of Albion Special Care, ER-Card, Infusion Resource, JBM Medical, as well as serving as Chairman of the Board for DiJiPOP. He is on the Board of Advisors for both The Rhode Island Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (RICIE), and Providence Economic Development Partnership (PEDP). He also serves as a Senior Mentor at Betaspring, Rhodes Island’s newest business start-up incubator.
Bill received his BS from Boston College as well as an MS, Ph.D., and post-doctorate training from Boston University, University of Michigan and Harvard School of Public Health. Bill is also the only Board Certified Ergonomist in the State of Rhode Island. He resides in Lincoln.
